Balloon Visits

Earthcare Connections works with a team of regional coordinators who present the Earthcare Balloon* and earth awareness curricula to children and youth at schools and at Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations Summer Science Festivals throughout Saskatchewan. The regional coordinators, themselves teachers, work with educators in the school to customize presentations.

The target audience for the Earthcare Balloon is grades four to seven. However, we are flexible and have worked with all grades from kindergarten to grade 12. Six classes of thirty students can be easily accommodated during one day.

Requirements for hosting the Earthcare Balloon at your school or event:
The Balloon has a diameter of 6.7 m (22 ft) and requires 5.5 m (18 ft) of height clearance. Payment in full is required to reserve a booking.
