The Earthcare Balloon has travelled across the province of Saskatchewan. Handling the Earthcare Balloon is a regional co-ordinator who is in direct contact with your school and will make the presentation to your school. The regional co-ordinators, themselves teachers, work with educators in the school to customize the presentations. The three regional co-ordinators divide the province into northern, central and southern regions.
The targeted audience for the Earthcare Balloon is grades four to seven. Six classes of thirty students can be easily accommodated during one day. Activities to work on prior to the arrival of the Earthcare Balloon can be found under Curricula. We are flexible, and we have worked with all grades from kindergarten to grade twelve. There is no limit on discussions and activities when a little imagination and big dreams are involved.
Requirements for the Earthcare Balloon: The Earthcare Balloon requires 5.5 metres (18 feet) in height of clearance. The Earthcare Balloon has a diameter of 6.7 metres (22 feet). We require payment in full to reserve the booking date. Prices are subject to change without notice. For further information, contact Earthcare Connections.
