Solar Energy

Our cattle watering system is completely powered by the sun’s energy. Solar panels charge batteries that power a pump floating in a nearby creek. This is connected to a float in the watering trough. As the cattle drink the water down, the float sinks, turning the pump on and refilling the trough.
