leafcutter bees

Currently, we have a leafcutter bee operation on fields near Marysburg. We have approximately 2 million bees on 100 acres of alfalfa. The bees serve two purposes: firstly without them the alfalfa wouldn't pollinate properly, from this we can harvest alfalfa sprouds for seed or the organic sprouting market. Secondly the bees number will approximately double in size, allowing us to either have a larger acerage of bees, or sell some.
